Megan Moore was born on September 4, 1991. She trained at Northwest Aerials in 2003. She switched gyms to Gymnastics East that fall. Megan is currently a level ten.
In 2003, Megan competed as a level seven. She placed third all-around and first on beam at the Flips USA Invitational. Megan moved up to level eight with Gymnastics East in 2004. She won the all-around, beam and floor titles at the Desert Devils Classic. Megan placed second on bars. Her next meet was the California Classic. She finished first on bars, beam, floor and in the all-around! At the Washington Level 8 State Championships, she finished first on vault, bars and in the all-around! She placed second on beam and floor.
Megan moved up to level nine in 2005. Her first level nine meet was the Cancun Classic. She won the all-around title. At the Spirit of the Flame Challenge, Megan placed second all-around. At the Washington State Championships, she won the all-around title and every event except for vault, where she finished second. At the Regional Championships, Megan won everything except for bars, which was a silver medal. At Westerns, Megan placed second all-around. She was also second on bars.
She moved up to level ten in 2006. At the Blooms and Blossoms Invitational, Megan placed third all-around. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam and the all-around title! At Regionals, Megan won bars and the all-around title. Her final meet of the season was the JO National Championships. She placed in the top fifteen all-around! She continued competing level ten in 2007 despite struggling with an ankle injury. She finished first on floor at States. She placed sixth all-around. At Regionals, Megan won vault, bars, beam and the all-around title. She did not compete all-around at the JO National Championships.
In 2008, she finished second all-around at the Battle in Seattle meet. She placed second on beam and third on vault and floor. At States, she won bars and beam. She finished third all-around. Megan placed third on bars and second on floor at Regionals. She placed fourth in the all-around. At JO Nationals, she placed third on beam! She finished 20th all-around. Megan did not compete in 2009.
