Madison Mooring was born on September 23, 1992. She trained at Airbound Gymnastics in 2002. She spent most of her optional career at Krafft Academy. She moved to Dynamo in the summer of 2010. Madison graduated a high school a semester early to join Oklahoma for the 2011 season.
In 2002, Madison competed level eight. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals. In 2005, Madison won floor at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2006. Madison finished first on vault, beam and the all-around at the Crystal Cup. She won vault and the all-around at the Kurt Thomas Invitational. Madison finished first on beam and second all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed second on beam and floor. She finished third all-around.
Madison continued competing level nine in 2007. She won vault and floor at the Friendship Cup. At Regionals, she won vault, beam and the all-around. Madison finished first on vault, seventh on floor and tenth all-around at Westerns. She moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished second all-around and third on vault at Regionals. She placed tenth on vault and beam at JO Nationals. She placed eighth all-around. In 2009, Madison finished third on vault at the Friendship Cup. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. She finished first on beam and floor at the JO National Invitational Tournament. She placed second all-around. In 2010, Madison won beam, floor and the all-around at the Cancun Classic. She won beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won beam and finished eight all-around. Madison won vault, beam and floor at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
