Mallory Moredock was born on June 17, 1996. Mallory began gymnastics at Atlanta School of Gymnastics. She moved to Georgia Gymnastics Academy in Lawrenceville, Georgia, at the age of four. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
Mallory was a member of the National TOPS “B” team in both 2005 and 2006. She began competing in Level 8 in 2007 and was Level 8 Regional champion in 2008. In 2009 Mallory moved to level 9. As a first year level 9, she competed at the Atlanta Centennial Classic where she won second on Floor and second all-around. Mallory competed at the Level 9 Regionals and was floor champion. There she qualified for the Level 9 Eastern Nationals. For the 2010 season, Mallory competed in Level 9. At the Flip Fest Invitational Mallory received first on floor, second on vault, and was all-around champion. At the Atlanta Centennial Classic, she was first on vault, beam, and floor, second on bars and first all-around. She placed first on bars at the Metroplex Challenge in Dallas Texas, and at the Level 9 state meet she won second on floor and beam. While competing at the Level 9 Regionals in 2010, Mallory won first on floor and was third all around. She once again qualified to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she placed 12th all-around.
In 2010 Mallory began competing in Level 10. At the Sand Dollar Classic, she was second on beam, fourth on floor and was second all-around. At the National Gymnastics Challenge she won third on beam, fourth on vault and floor and fourth all-around. At the Tiger Paw Classic Mallory was third on vault, and was the floor champion at the Level 10 state meet. Mallory competed at the Level 10 Regionals in New Orleans and won third on floor. As a first year Level 10, Mallory qualified for the National Invitational Tournament in Long Beach California where she placed 17th all around.
