Brittney Lee Morgan was born to Cory and Wendy in Charlottesville, Virginia, on February 23, 1988. She has two sisters and two brothers. She began gymnastics at the age of six in 1994 at Hills. She spent her entire club career at Hill's Gymnastics.
In 2000, Brittney competed as a level nine. She finished fourteenth all-around at Easterns. In 2001, she competed as a level ten. Brittany won the all-around title at the San Diego Classic. At the Maryland State Championships, she finished second all-around. Brittany won beam at Regionals. More importantly, she qualified for JO Nationals. They were held in Oregon. She continued competing level ten in 2002. Brittany won the all-around, vault and beam state titles! She won Regionals as well! Brittany finished her season at JO Nationals.
Brittany competed as an elite in 2003. She started her season by placing second all-around at the Glider Invitational, Parkette Invitational and Maryland Classic. She won the Magical Classic. Brittany also qualified as a junior international elite. She competed at the US Classic and American Classic. Brittany returned to level ten in 2004. She won the Maryland Classic. At the Parkette Invitational and Pikes Peak Cup, Brittany finished third all-around. At Regionals, she won the all-around title! Brittany made the JO National Team by finished second all-around and first on beam!
She had a great 2005 season. Brittany won the Maryland Classic. She finished second all-around at the Dragon Invitational and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she became the State Champion. Brittany finished second all-around at JO Nationals again. During her freshman season at Arizona, she was named Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week for March 6-12. She earned her nomination by winning her first career all-around title. She earned three vault titles during the season. She only competed for Arizona one season.
