Kelsey Morris was born on April 28, 1993. She trains at Leading Edge Gymnastics Academy in Washington. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2004, Kelsey competed level seven. She moved up to level eight in 2005. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third on bars and sixth all-around. Kelsey continued competing level eight in 2006. She finished third on bars at the Flips USA Invitational. She finished third on beam at the San Diego Classic and second on vault at the Hard Rock Invitational. At Regionals, she placed first on bars and third all-around.

Kelsey competed level nine in 2007. She finished second at the Flip USA Invitational. She won the Seattle Open. Kelsey finished third all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She won vault at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished first on vault and third all-around! Kelsey won vault and the all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed first on vault and floor! She finished second all-around. She began competing level ten in 2008. She won vault and floor at the National Judges Cup. Kelsey won floor at the Seattle Open. At the Battle in Seattle meet, she finished firs ton vault and the all-around. She won vault, bars, and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. Kelsey swept the gold medals at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on vault, floor and the all-around. Kelsey ended her season by winning vault at JO Nationals. She finished sixth all-around.

She continued competing level ten in 2009. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Great West Gym Fest. Kelsey won vault and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she won bars. She won vault and floor at Regionals, where she also placed third all-around. At JO Nationals, she finished sixth on beam and eighth all-around. In 2010, Kelsey won vault, floor and the all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She finished first on bars at the Long Beach Open. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars, beam and the all-around. Kelsey won beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed second on bars and tenth on vault. She finished 12th all-around.
