Jackie Mowery was born on June 12, 1993. She trains at Parkettes in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In 2004, she competed as a level seven. She finished eighth all-around at the Sectional Championships. At the State Championships, she won a silver on bars.

In 2005, Jacquelyn moved up to level eight. She finished first on vault at the Maryland Classic. She won floor at the Parkette Invitational. Jackie won vault at the Sectional Championships. She competed at the Level 8 State Championships. She moved up to level nine in 2006. Jackie placed third all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She finished fourth all-around at the Pancott Invitational. Jacquelyn placed fourth on vault at Regionals. She qualified to the Eastern Championships. In the summer, Jackie competed as a junior pre-elite at the US Challenge.

She moved up to level ten in 2007. She won a bronze medal on vault and a silver medal on floor at the Parkette Invitational. At States, Jacquelyn won the all-around title! she ifnished second on vault, bars and beam. She was third on floor. At Regionals, she finished eighth all-around, missing the JO Nationals by one spot. She competed as a pre-elite again at the 2007 US Challenge.

She decided to compete level ten only in 2008. At the State Championships, she placed third on bars and in the all-around. She placed second on beam. At Regionals, she finished fourth all-around. She placed third on vault and bars. Jacquelyn had a rough bar routine at JO Nationals.
