Erika Muhaw was born on July 31, 1997. She trains at North Stars Gymnastics in Boonton, New Jersey. Erika will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2004, Erika competed level four. She moved up to level five in the fall. She finished fourth on bars at the Greater New York Invitational. At the 2005 Level 5 State Championships, she finished 12th all-around. Erika competed level six in December. She finished third on vault at the Greater New York Invitational. In 2007, Logan competed level eight. She finished eight all-around at the Dutch Classic. She placed sixth on floor at the Parkette Invitational. She continued competing level eight in 2008. She finished in the top ten at the Parkette Invitational.
Erika began competing level nine in 2009. She finished second on vault and beam at the Parkette Invitational. She placed 11th all-around at the State Championships. Erika finished fourth all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed fifth on floor and 11th all-around. In 2010, Erika finished third on vault at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Parkette Invitational. Erika finished first on vault at the Excalibur Cup. At the State Championships, she finished second in the all-around and first on floor. Her floor score set the new state record. At Regionals, she placed third all-around. Erika finished fifth on beam and eleventh all-around at Easterns.
