Alecia Musser was born on June 6, 1992. She will graduate from Pine Creek High School in 2010. She moved from Nashville to Colorado to train at Colorado Aerials. She has a sister Sharaya who earned a full scholarship to Penn State.
In 2003, Alecia competed as a level nine. She won the WOGA Classic. She finished in the top ten at Regionals. This qualified her for the Western Championships. Alecia ended her season at Westerns. In 2004, she competed as a child pre-elite. She finished first in the optional portion at the US Challenge. She was named to the National Elite Training Squad.
Alecia qualified to junior international elite in 2005. She competed at the US Classic. She dropped down to level ten to get more experince in 2006. She won the all-around, vault, and bars titles at the Pikes Peak Cup. She then won the all-around, vault and bars title at Regionals. Alecia placed third all-around at JO Nationals. She was named to the JO National Team. In the summer, she finished second all-around at the Rocky State Mountain Games.
She continued competing as a level ten in 2007. She won States. At Regionals, she finished second on bars and floor. Alecia finished second all-around at JO Nationals. She qualified to junior international elite at the National Elite Qualifier. She then competed at the US Classic. She finished eighth all-around. She won vault! Alecia ended her season at the US National Championships. She tied for fourth on vault.
