Mackenzie Myers was born on August 14, 1995 to Alan and Rita Myers. She trains at Frederick Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2003, Mackenzie competed level five. She finished third all-around at the Jingle's Meet. At the State Championships, she won bars and beam. She finished second all-around. Mackenzie moved up to level six in 2004. Mackenzie finished third all-around at the Judge's Invite and second at the Jingle Meet. She won the all-around at the East Coast Classic, Columbia Challenge and Frederick Classic. At States, Mackenzie won floor and placed fourth all-around.

She competed level seven in 2005. Mackenzie won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at States. Mackenzie moved up to level eight for the 2006 season. At the East Coast Classic, she swept the gold medals. Mackenzie finished third all-around at the Capital Cup. At the Maryland State Championships, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. She ended her season by winning floor at Regionals.

Her first year as a level nine was in 2007. She won beam and floor at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Frederick Classic, she finished third all-around. Mackenzie qualified for Regionals at States. She continued competing level nine in 2008, taking second place all-around at the Manhattan Classic. Her best level nine season was in 2009. Mackenzie won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Jazz Invitational. She won three event titles at the Frederick Classic and Maryland Classic. At the State Championships, Mackenzie placed first on vault and floor. She finished second all-around. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. Mackenzie won floor at Easterns.

In 2010, Mackenzie moved up to level 10. At the Winter Invitational, she finished first on balance beam and third on floor exercise. At the Frederick Classic, she placed fifth in the all-around and third on uneven bars and floor exercise. Mackenzie qualified to the Level 10 Regional Championships.

Mackenzie started her 2010-2011 season at the Black-Eyed Susan and World Class Invitational, where she placed fourth and second in the all-around respectively. At the Maryland Classic, She placed third in the all-around and qualified to bars and beam event finals on the next day. Mackenzie won a silver medal in the all-around at the Frederick Classic and IGI Chicago Style. At the Mardi Gras Invitational, she placed first on bars, beam, floor and in the all-around. Mackenzie finished second overall as well as second on vault and uneven bars at the Level 10 Maryland State Championships. She concluded her 2011 season at the Regionals by finishing eighth on vault and seventh on uneven bars.
