Evelyn Nee was born on March 18, 1996. She trained at Gymini Gymnastics through the 2006 season. She then moved to Capital Gymnastics for two years. Evelyn competed for Loudoun Gymnastics in 2010. She moved to Apollo for the 2011 season. Evelyn will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2004, Evelyn competed level four. She finished in the top twenty all-around at the State Championships. Evelyn repeated this feat in 2005 as a level five. In 2006, she finished third on beam at the Level 6 State Championships. Evelyn moved up to level seven in 2007. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on bars. Evelyn began competing level eight in 2008. She won bars and the all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to hopes elite at the Parkette Invitational.

Evelyn began competing level nine in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Magical Classic. She finished eleventh all-around at the State Championships. She placed in the top twenty at Regionals. In 2011, Evelyn finished second all-around at the Star Struck Invitational. She finished third all-around at the Excalibur Cup. At the Rock n Roll Invitational, she won bars and the all-around. Evelyn won bars and the all-around at the State Championships. She also won bars and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed first on bars, fourth on beam and sixth all-around.
