Jessica Nesis was born on November 14, 1994. She trains at Gymnastics East. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2004, Jessica competed level four. She finished second on vault, floor and in the all-around at the Mystery Classic. At the Level 4 State Championships, she won vault. She placed second all-around and third on beam. Jessica moved up to level five in 2005. She won vault and placed third all-around at the Pajama Classic. Jessica moved up to level six in 2006. She competed at the State Championships.

She immediately moved to level seven competition in the spring of 2007. She won a bronze medal on vault at the Flips USA Invitational. She placed in the top twenty at States. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished second on vault at the Battle in Seattle. At the State Championships, she placed tenth. She ended her season by winning a silver on vault at Regionals. Jessica competed level nine in 2009. She finished second all-around at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. At the Great West Gym Fest, she finished third all-around. She won bars and the all-around at Regionals. She placed second on vault and floor. Jessica ended her season with a top twenty performance at Westerns.

Jessica continued competing level nine in 2010. She placed third all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won a bronze medal on floor at the Battle in Seattle meet. At States, Jessica finished third all-around. She won vault and floor. Her next meet was Regionals where she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. Jessica ended her season with a sixth place finish at Westerns. She placed third on vault and fourth on floor.
