Danielle Moore was born on December 26, 1991. Her nickname is Nikki. She trained at Buckeye Gymnastics during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.

Nikki steadily rose through the compulsory levels, beginning competition as a level four in 1999. Nikki competed level five in 2000 and level six in 2001. In 2003, Nikki competed level eight. She finished second on vault at Regionals. She placed in the top twenty at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2004. Nikki finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at Easterns. Nikki reached level ten in 2005. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. In 2006, Nikki finished in the top twenty at Regionals.

In 2007, Nikki won vault at the Buckeye Classic. She finished third on beam at the State Championships. In 2009, she won vault at the Buckeye Classic. Nikki finished first on beam and third all-around at Regionals. She finished 13th all-around at JO Nationals. She also was the Ohio State High School Champion. In 2010, she finished second all-around at the Universal Galaxy. She placed third all-around at the For Love or Money meet. At the Buckeye Classic, she won vault. She finished second all-around at the Arnold Challenge. Nikki did not compete in the all-around at the State Championships. She won vault at Regionals.
