Alea Norris was born on May 31, 1997. She trains at Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics. She trained at Adrenaline in 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2004, Alea competed level four. She placed second on beam and fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2005. She finished fourth on floor at the State Championships. Alea won beam and floor at the State Championships in 2006. She competed level eight in 2008. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She placed fifth all-around at Regionals. Alea competed level nine in 2009. She won beam at the Surf City Classic. She finished first on vault and the all-around at the State Championships. She placed seventh all-around at Regionals.

Alea began competing level ten in 2010. She won beam and floor at the Snowball Express. She finished second on floor at the Denver Winterfest. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. Alea finished third all-around at the 2011 Gliders Invitational. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
