Erin Odom was born on March 16, 1994. She trained at North Star Gymnastics during her compulsory years. She has spent most of her career at Texas East Gymnastics. She will graduated from high school in 2012.
In 2003, Erin competed level six. She finished eighth all-around at the State Championships in the fall. She competed level seven in 2005. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. Erin moved up to level eight in 2006. She competed at Regionals. In 2007, she began competing level nine. Erin continued competing level nine in 2008. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed tenth on vault and eighth all-around.
Erin began competing level ten in 2009. She finished third on vault at the WOGA Classic. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Rose City Classic. Erin won vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished ninth all-around. In 2010, Erin won bars and floor at the Ricky Deci Invitational. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. Erin won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Gumbo Cup. She won beam at the Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, she finished in the top ten all-around. Erin finished eighth all-around at Regionals. She competed at the JO National Invitational Tournament. In 2011, Erin finished first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Rose City Classic. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, Erin finished fifth all-around. She finished 30th all-around at JO Nationals.
