Lindsay Offutt was born on August 7, 1994. She will graduate from Lakeland High School in 2012.

In 2005, Lindsay competed level nine. She qualified for Easterns. She continued competing level nine in 2006. She finished third on vault, bars and in the all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on beam. At Regionals, she won beam and the all-around. Lindsay ended her season by winning beam at Easterns. She also placed second on bars and seventh all-around. Her final year of level nine was in 2007. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the Motown Madness meet. At States, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Lindsey placed first on beam and in the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed second on beam.

She moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Motown Madness. Lindsay placed third on floor at the State Championships. She won beam and the all-around. At Regionals, she won vault. She finished second on floor and in the all-around. She then competed at JO Nationals. She finished fourth on vault, beam and floor. She placed second all-around, qualifying for the JO National Team and Region 5 All-Star Team. Lindsay also qualified for junior pre-elite in 2008.

Lindsay continued to have strong results in 2009. She finished third all-around at the For Love or Money meet. She won beam and floor at the Wolverine Classic. At the State Championships, she won beam and placed third all-around. Lindsay won beam and floor at Regionals. She finished third all-around. Her final meet of the season was JO Nationals where she placed third all-around. She won floor. She only competed on beam and floor at the San Diego Classic in 2010. In 2011, Lindsay finished third on floor at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She won beam at the Circle of Stars meet. At the Athlete Warrior Challenge, she finished third on beam. She placed third on floor at the Presidential Classic. Lindsay finished second all-around at the Motown Madness meet and third all-around at the All American Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on floor and third all-around. Lindsay won floor at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she placed first on floor.
