Ashley Olin was born on December 27, 1990. She graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School in 2009. She trains at Peninsula Gymnastics.

In 2004, Ashley competed as a level five. By 2006 she was competing as a level seven. She won the State uneven bars title. She was eighth all-around. Ashley did level seven again in 2007. She won the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At States, she finished first all-around! Ashley also won bars and floor. She moved up to level eight in 2008. At the Spirit of the Flame Challenge, she finished second on bars and third on floor. She finished second on vault and in the all-around at the Golden State Classic. She won floor. She won bars and floor at the Gold Country Classic. At States, she placed fourth on vault and in the all-around. She finished third on floor. She competed at Regionals.
