Brie Olson was born on August 31, 1991 to Rob and Clare. She trained at St. Cloud Twisters until the 2005 season. She then moved to Ultimate. After the 2007 season, Brie spent two years at Twin City Twisters. Shortly before the 2009 JO National Championships, she returned to Ultimate.
In 2003, Brie competed level nine. She placed fifteenth all-around at the Regional Championships. She continued competing level nine in 2004. She placed second on vault and floor at the San Diego Classic. At Regionals, she finished sixth all-around. She placed fourth on vault. Brie ended her season at Level 9 Westerns. Brie moved up to level ten in 2005. She finished third all-around at the Shamrock Invitational. In 2006, Brie finished second on beam at the Cactus Cooler meet. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals.
Brie continued competing level ten in 2007. She swept the gold medals at the Surf City Classic. At the State Championships, she won beam and the all-around. She placed second on bars. Brie finished third all-around at Regionals, qualifying for her first JO Nationals. She placed second on vault and bars as well. At JO Nationals, she finished sixth on bars and 28th all-around. Brie had a solid 2008 season. She finished second on bars and third on floor at the Hard Rock Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. She won bars and vault. At Regionals, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. She ended her season placing third all-around at JO Nationals! She also placed third on bars, fourth on vault, seventh on beam and sixth on floor. Brie was also named Minnesota JO Athlete of the Year.
She ended her club career in 2009. She won bars and placed second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Northern Lights Classic, Brie swept the gold medals. She placed third all-around and first on bars at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she won bars. Brie won bars and placed second all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished seventh on bars and floor. She placed 19th all-around.
Megan made an immediate impact as a freshman at Oklahoma in 2010. She competed on vault and bars at the season opener. She became a mainstay in these line ups. She exhibitioned beam and floor against Missouri. Brie won her first NCAA title on bars at Michigan State. At the Big 12 Championships, she tied for first on vault.
