Andrea Orrantia was born on May 22, 1995. She trains at Olympus Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2006, Andrea competed level four. She finished third all-around at the Crystal Cup. She competed level six in 2007. She won bars at the Crystal Cup. She moved up to level seven in 2008. She placed first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Hardrock Invitational. At the State Championships, she bars, floor and the all-around. She competed level eight in 2009. She finished second all-around at both the Hardrock Invitational and California Classic. She placed third all-around at the Byers Invitational. At Regionals, she placed second on vault, floor and the all-around.

Andrea began competing level nine in 2010. She finished third on vault, beam and floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won vault and bars at the Vegas Cup. At the State Championships, she won floor and the all-around. Andrea won bars at Regionals. She placed sixth on bars at Westerns. In 2011, Andrea finished first on bars at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Seattle Open. At Regionals, she finished second all-around. She placed ninth on vault at Westerns. She finished 15th all-around.
