Dorian Overhus was born on June 10, 1996. She trains at Cascade Elite Gymnastics in Washington. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2004, Dori competed level four. She placed first on vault and third all-around at the Mystery Classic. She finished second on bars at the State Championships. Dori moved up to level five in 2005. She finished first on bars and second all-around at the Surf City Classic. Dori competed level six in 2006. She placed second all-around at the Pajama Classic. Dori skipped level seven and competed level eight in 2007. She finished in the top fifteen at the State and Regional Championships. She placed third on floor at Regionals. In 2008, Dori finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. She placed sixth all-around at Regionals.
Dori began competing level nine in 2009. She finished first on beam at the Hard Rock Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. Dori placed second on bars and fifth all-around at the State Championships. She finished second all-around at Regionals. Dori finished tenth all-around at Westerns. In 2010, Dori won beam and the all-around at the World Cup Invitational. Dori began competing level ten in 2011. She finished first all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She placed second all-around at the Seattle Open. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she won floor and the all-around. Dori placed sixth all-around at the State Championships. She won bars, floor and the all-around at Regionals. Dori placed eighth on bars at JO Nationals.
In 2012, Dori finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the Seattle Open. She won all five gold medals at the Cascade Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed first on floor and second all-around. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals.
