Molly Overstreet was born on June 1, 1998. She trained at Cardinal Gymnastics through the 2008 season. She then moved to Apollo. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2006, Molly competed level four. She placed first on beam and second all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2007. She won floor at the State Championships. Molly competed level six in 2008. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Gasparilla Classic. She placed third all-around at the Aerials Invitational. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the State Championships. Molly moved up to level seven in 2009. She won vault, beam, and the all-around at the East Coast Classic. At the Excalibur Cup, she placed first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Molly won the all-around title at the Frederick Classic. She placed first on beam and second all-around at the State Championships.

Molly competed level eight in 2010. She finished first on beam at the Maryland Classic. She placed third all-around at the Parkette Invitational. Molly won bars and the all-around at the Magical Classic. At the Rock n Roll Invitational, she won vault and beam. Molly placed fourth all-around at the Charleston Cup. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. Molly began competing level nine in 2011. She finished third on beam at the Star Struck Invitational and Excalibur Cup. Molly placed third on beam at the State Championships. She finished in the top ten all-around. At Regionals, she finished fourth on floor.
