Hope Parkin was born on September 16, 1997. She trained at USA Gymnastics World through the 2009 season. She then moved to Olympus Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2016.
In 2008, Hope competed level seven. She finished second all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won vault and beam at the State Championships. She placed third all-around. In 2009, she won vault at the Lady Luck Invitational. She competed as a level eight at the WOGA Classic. At the Bear Country Invitational, she placed third on vault. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals. Hope finished third all-around at the 2010 Red Heart 10.0 Invitational. She won vault at both the Fiesta Bowl Invitational and Vegas Cup. At Regionals, she won vault. She finished seventh all-around.
Hope began competing level nine in 2011. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished second all-around at the Gliders Invitational. She placed second on vault and beam at the Seattle Open. At Regionals, she finished seventh all-around. She placed seventh on floor at Westerns.
