McKinley Pavicic was born on March 16, 1999. She trained at Go For It USA through the 2007 season. She then moved to Desert Gymcats for two years. McKinley began training at Brown's Gymnastics in the fall of 2009. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2006, McKinley competed level four. She finished second all-around at the Go For It Classic. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. Mckinley won vault and bars at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in the fall season. She finished second all-around at the Perfector Invitational. At the Fall State Championships, she won bars and placed third all-around. She continued competing level five in the spring, finished third all-around at the Go For It Classic. She won vault and the all-around at the State Championships.

McKinley competed one level six meet in the fall of 2007, winning the all-around at the Perfector Invitational. In 2008, she competed level seven. She won beam at the IGHOF Invitational. At the State Championships, she won bars. She placed third all-around. She made the National TOPs Team in the fall. McKinley moved up to level eight in 2009. She won bars at the Team OC Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the Vegas Cup. At the State Championships, she won bars and the all-around. McKinley placed second on vault and third on bars at Regionals. She made her second National TOPs Team that fall.

She began competing level nine in 2010. She finished third on bars at the Wine Country Classic. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. McKinley made her third National TOPs Team in the fall. McKinley placed first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the 2011 Lady Luck Invitational. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. McKinley then moved up to level ten. She finished first on bars at the Heart of a Champion meet. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Malibu Coast Challenge. McKinley finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She also finished fourth all-around at Regionals. McKinley finished 16th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2012, McKinley finished first on bars at the Lady Luck Invitational. She won beam and the all-around at the Long Beach Open. At the State Championships, she placed second on bars. McKinley won bars at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed second on bars.
