Ciera Perkins was born on May 27, 1993. She trains at Gymcats in Nevada. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2004, Ciera competed level six. She won vault at the State Championships. She placed third all-around. She moved up to level seven in 2005. Ciera placed third on vault and second on floor at the State Championships. In 2006, Ciera competed level eight. She placed second all-around at the AOGC Invitational. At the Cactus Cooler Invitational, she finished third on beam. Ciera won a bronze medal on vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on bars. She finished in the top ten all-around. She moved up to level nine in 2007. Ciera won vault at the State Championships. She placed second on bars, floor and the all-around. At Regionals, she won floor. She placed second all-around. She ended her season with a fourth place finish at Westerns. She finished in the top ten on bars and floor.

Ciera began competing level ten in 2008. She placed fourth all-around at the National Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, she won a bronze medal on beam. At Regionals, she placed fifteenth all-around. Ciera continued to improve in 2009. She won the Cactus Cooler Invitational. She qualified for Regionals at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed ninth all-around. She ended her season at the JO National Invitational Tournament, placing first on bars and third all-around.

She had a stellar season in 2010. She won bars and floor at the Lady Luck Invitational. Ciera won bars at the San Diego Classic. At the Vegas Cup, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Ciera won vault, bars and the all-around at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. She won bars at the Purple and Gold meet. At the State Championships, she finished second on bars and first on floor. She won vault at Regionals. She placed third all-around. At JO Nationals, Ciera won vault and floor! She finished second all-around.
