Christina Pheil was born on May 13, 1994. She began gymnastics in 1997. She trains at Tampa Bay Turners Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

As a compulsory athlete, Christina won the all-around title at the State Championships as a level four, five and six. She was named Most Outstanding Level 5 for her club in 2005. Christina competed level seven in 2006. She won vault and the all-around at the GymQuarter's Invitational. At the State Championships, she won the vault title. Christina competed level eight in 2007. She finished second on vault at the Battle of Champions meet. At the State Championships, she won floor and the all-around. Christina finished second on vault, bars and the all-around at Regionals.

She began competing level nine in 2008. Christina won beam, floor and the all-around at the Charleston Cup. She won vault and the all-around at the State Championships. At Easterns, Christina finished eighth all-around and fourth on vault. In 2009, she won bars, beam and the all-around at the Battle of the Champions meet. She won vault, bars, beam, and the all-around at the Daytona Beach Open. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Gymquarter's Invitational. Christina finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Tampa Bay Turner's Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. She won all five gold medals at Regionals. At Easterns, Christina won bars and the all-around. Her all-around total was the highest of all age divisions.

Christina had a strong season as a first year level ten in 2010. She won floor at the Tampa Bay Turner's Invitational. At the Daytona Beach Open, she finished second on vault and floor. She placed first on bars at the State Championships. Christina placed third on vault and the all-around. At Regionals, she finished second on floor and fourth all-around. She ended her season at JO Nationals, finishing fourth on floor and 19th all-around. In 2011, Christina finished second on bars at the Tampa Bay Classic. She won vault at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. At the Daytona Beach Open, she placed second all-around. She won vault and bars at the IGI Chicago Style and Purple and Gold meet. At the State Championships, she won vault, floor and the all-around with a 38.150. Christina finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she won floor.
