Annaliese Picardal was born on August 17, 1996. She trains at Oakland Gymnastics in Michigan. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2005, Annaliese competed level five. She moved up to level six in 2007. She competed level seven in 2008. She won beam at the Twistars Invitational. She placed third all-around at the US Airborne Invitational. In 2009, Annaliese moved up to level eight. She finished second on beam at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She finished fourth on beam at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2010, Annaliese finished third all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She won vault at the San Diego Classic. She placed second on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. Annaliese won beam at the Motown Madness meet. She placed third on beam at the State Championships. She finished in the top ten all-around at Regionals.

Annaliese continued competing level eight in 2011. She placed first on beam and the all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She won vault and beam at the Circle of Stars meet. She won beam at the Athlete Warrior Challenge. At the Presidential Classic, she placed first on vault. Annaliese won vault, beam and the all-around at the All American Invitational. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on beam and fifth all-around.
