Cassidy Pilo was born on January 9, 1997. She trains at LaFleur's Academy of Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2005, Cassidy competed level four. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level five in 2006. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on vault. She competed level seven in 2008. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. Cassidy competed level eight in 2009. She finished second all-around at the Midwest Challenge. At the Daytona Beach Open, she won beam. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on floor.

Cassidy began competing level nine in 2010. She finished first on floor at the Midwest Challenge. She placed second on beam at the Circle of Stars meet. At the Harley Davidson meet, she finished second on floor. Cassidy placed third on floor at the OGC Optional Invitational. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on beam and fourth all-around. Cassidy competed at Westerns. In 2011, she finished first on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed second all-around at the Harley Davidson meet. At the Tim Rand Invitational, she won beam. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on floor and fifth all-around. Cassidy placed eighth on bars and beam at Westerns. She finished tenth all-around.
