Lark Cheri Pokladnik was born on April 4, 1996. She is the daughter of Charles and Robin Pokladnik. She trained at Metroplex until 2006. She briefly trained at University of Gymnastics before returning to Metroplex. Lark moved to WOGA for the 2008 season. Following the 2009 season, she began training at Elite Champion, reuniting with her former Metroplex coaches. Lark moved to Metroplex before the 2011 season.
In 2003, Lark competed level five. She moved up to level five in 2004. In 2005, she won a bronze medal on vault at the WOGA Classic. She quickly moved through level six and seven, competing level eight in 2006. Lark continued level eight in 2007. She finished third all-around at the WOGA Classic. She placed second on vault and bars. At the California Classic, she again finished third all-around. Lark won the all-around and floor titles at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fifth all-around. She placed third on vault and bars.
Lark moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished fifth all-around at the WOGA Classic and seventh all-around at the Texas Prime Meet. At the AOGC Invitational, she finished second all-around. She won a bronze medal on bars in route to finishing fourth all-around at the State Championships. Lark then placed third all-around at Regionals. She ended her season with a sixth place finish at Westerns. In 2009, Lark began competing level ten. She finished third on vault and floor at the WOGA Classic. She won a silver medal on beam at the Houston National Invitational. At the Great West Gymfest, she finished third all-around. Lark placed second on beam and third on floor at States. She won a bronze medal on floor at Regionals.
She finished second all-around at the Cancun Classic in 2010. Lark placed third all-around at the Texas Prime Meet. She finished second all-around at both the WOGA Classic and Kurt Thomas Invitational. Lark won the all-around title at the Houston National Invitational. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Lark finished in the top ten all-around. She competed at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
