Kristen Politz was born on September 1, 1998. She trains at Rebound Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

Kristen competed level four in 2006. She finished first all-around at the Parkette Invitational. At the State Championships, Kristen won the all-around title. She moved up to level five in 2007. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Brestyan Invitational. At the State Championships, she won bars and floor, setting the state record on the latter event. She made the National TOPs Team that fall. In 2008, Kristen competed level seven. She finished second all-around at the WOGA Classic. She made the National TOPs "B" Team. Also in the fall, Kristen won the all-around titles at the Pumpkin Cup, Rutgers Classic and Christmas City Classic. In January, Kristen won vault, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She set the state record on floor.

She moved up to level eight for the rest of the 2009 season. Kristen won beam and placed second all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She finished second on floor at the WOGA Classic. At the Excalibur Cup, Kristen finished third on beam and floor. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top ten at Regionals. In 2010, Kristen finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Rutgers Color Games. She placed third all-around at the Parkette Invitational. Kristen won vault and floor at the Buckeye Classic. She won vault at the State Championships, setting the state record. At Regionals, she placed third on vault.
