Hannah Popper was born on April 5, 1994. She trained at Nina's Gymnastics Center in New York through the 2009 season. She then moved to Texas Dreams Gymnastics. Hannah began training at Top Flights Gymnastics in Southlake, Texas, in November 2010. Hannah will graduate from high school in 2012. She carries a 5.0424/5.0 GPA.
In 2005, Hannah won vault at the Level 6 State Championships. She finished second on bars and the all-around. Hannah moved up to level seven in 2006. She finished third all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She won bars and placed second all-around at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2007. In 2008, Hannah began competing level nine. She placed second on beam and seventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at the Level 9 Eastern Championships.
Hannah continued competing level nine in 2009. She finished third on floor at the Heartland Spring Classic. She finished second on vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on floor. In July, Hannah competed at the Maccabbi Games. She won a bronze medal on floor. In 2010, she won bars at the WOGA Classic and Kurt Thomas Invitational. At Regionals, she finished second on bars and floor. She finished fourth all-around. Hannah placed second on bars at Westerns. She finished 12th all-around. In December, she suffered a knee injury and had ACL reconstruction surgery. She has regained all of her previous skills in addition to adding new skills on bars and beam. Hannah is looking forward to a successful level ten season in 2012.
