Amanda Presswood was born on February 27, 1996. She trains at Byers Roseville She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In the fall of 2004, Amanda competed level four. She moved up to level five in 2005. She placed third on beam at the River City Classic. She continued competing level five in 2006. She won vault at the River City Classic. She placed third all-around at the High-Tech Invitational. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Aloha Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Goblin Games. She finished second on bars at the Zone Championships. In 2007, Amanda competed level six. She finished second all-around at the International Flip Fest. She won the all-around title at the River City Classic. She won all five gold medals at the Mikhail's Navy meet. At the Compulsory Classic, she won beam. She also won beam at the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree. She placed first on floor and the all-around at the Halloween Jamboree. She finished second all-around at the Zone Championships. Amanda finished in the top ten at the State Championships.
Amanda immediately began competing level seven in 2008. She won floor and the all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. She also won floor and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She finished first on floor and fifth all-around at the State Championships. Amanda moved up to level eight in 2008. She won vault at the Roseville Invitational and Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed third on vault at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
Amanda began competing level nine in 2010. She placed second on beam at the Roseville Invitational and Winter Invitational. She won vault and beam at the Return of the Titans meet. She finished in the top ten at the State and Regional Championships. Amanda finished third all-around at the 2011 Red Heart 10.0 Invitational and Roseville Invitational. She won vault at the Winter Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third on floor. Amanda finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. She finished 22nd all-around at Westerns.
