Madilyn Probst was born on July 21, 1999. She trained at Desert Lights Gymnastics until June of 2011. She then moved to Gold Medal Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2017.
In 2007, Madilyn began competing level five. She competed at the Winter Sun Invitational, Fiesta Bowl Invitational and Hard Rock Invitational. At the Shamrock Invitational, she placed second on vault and third on floor. Madilyn placed second on vault at the Tucson Invitational. At the Spring State Championships, she placed in the top ten. She continued competing level five in the fall. She won vault and the all-around at the School Days Invitational. At the PGA Invitational, she won vault, bars and the all-around. Madilyn won vault at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. At the Halloween meet, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. She also won these events at the Fall Round Up. At the State Championships, she swept the gold medals totaling a 38.2 in the all-around. Madilyn was also named to the Diamond National TOPs Team.
Madilyn began competing level six in January of 2008. She won floor and the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. At the Hard Rock Invitational, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Cactus Cup. At the Arizona Spring Classic, she won beam and the all-around. In the fall, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the School Days Invitational. At the PGA Invitational, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. At the Halloween Invitational, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Madilyn ended her level six career at the State Championships. She won beam, floor and the all-around. With this result, Madilyn won the all-around at every level six meet. Madilyn also made the National TOPs Team.
She immediately began competing level seven in 2009. She placed second all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won the San Diego Classic. At the Fiesta Bowl Invitational, she placed third. Madilyn also placed third at the Kim Bird Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault and floor. She finished fourth all-around. Following the season, Madilyn had the honor of attending a developmental elite training camp. In the fall, she made her second National TOPs Team.
In 2010, Madilyn competed level eight. She finished second all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won beam at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At the Long Beach Open, she won vault and bars. Madilyn placed second all-around at the State Championships. She won bars and beam. At Regionals, she finished second on vault and fourth all-around. In June, she qualified to hopes. At the US Challenge, she finished second on bars and fourth all-around. Later that fall, Madilyn made the TOPs National Team for the fourth time! She moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She placed third on bars at the WOGA Classic. At the Emerald Team Challenge, she placed first on bars. Madilyn won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She missed Regionals due to a concussion.
