Tamara Rapp was born on November 20, 1994. Her twin sister Tiara is also a gymnast. Tamara trains at Hawaiian Island Twisters. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2003, Tamara competed level seven. Tamara competed level nine in 2005. She finished third on vault at the Ku'uipo Invitational. She finished second all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at Westerns. She continued competing level nine in 2006. She won bars at Regionals. She placed third all-around. At Westerns, Tamara finished third on bars and 13th all-around. She moved up to level ten in 2007. She won bars and placed second all-around at the AOGC Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished second on bars, floor and the all-around. She won beam at Regionals and placed second all-around. She ended her season at JO Nationals.
Tamara continued competing level ten in 2008. She finished second on vault at the Battle in Seattle. At Regionals, she won bars and placed fifth all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. Tamara was injured in 2009. In 2010, she won bars, floor and the all-around at Regionals. She competed at her third JO National Championships. In 2011, Tamara finished first on floor at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. She placed second all-around at the Bumbershoot Invite. At Regionals, she placed first on vault and floor. She finished third all-around. Tamara finished seventh on floor at JO Nationals.
