Rachel De La Torre was born on March 5, 1994. She trains at Chelsea Piers. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2004, Rachel competed level six. She moved up to level seven in 2005. In 2006, Rachel competed level eight. She placed third on beam at the AOGC Invitational. She competed level nine in 2007. She was the alternate for Easterns. In 2008, she placed second on bars and third all-around at the State Championships. Rachel won bars at Regionals. At Easterns, she finished 23rd all-around. In 2009, Rachel won bars at the Brestyan Invitational. She placed second all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed third on beam.
Rachel began competing level ten in 2010. She finished second on bars at both the Brestyan Invitational and Manhattan Classic. She won bars at the Winter Wonderland meet and Nittany Spring Invitational. At the Sand Dollar Invitational, she placed first on floor and second all-around. Rachel won bars at the State Championships. She placed third on bars at Regionals. In 2011, Rachel placed fourth on bars at the State Championships. She finished in the top twenty at Regionals.
