Hannah Redmon was born on October 4, 1988. She trained at Gymnastics Nevada through the 2000 season. She then moved to Flips USA Gymnastics. Hannah graduated from high school in 2007.

In 2000, Hannah competed level nine. She finished second on floor at the Flips USA Invitational. In 2002, she competed level nine. She finished sixth on bars and third on floor at Westerns. She finished 22nd all-around. In 2003, Hannah competed level ten. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed fourth on bars and 20th all-around. Hannah won bars at the 2004 Flips USA Invitational. She finished second all-around and first on bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on bars and fourth all-around. She finished fifth on bars and floor and eighth all-around at JO Nationals.

Hannah finished first on floor at the 2005 Flips USA Invitational. She finished third all-around at the San Diego Classic. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and floor. Hannah finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed second on bars, fifth on floor and sixth all-around. In 2006, Hannah finished first on bars at the San Diego Classic and Hard Rock Invitational. She placed third all-around at both the Long Beach Open and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she won bars and the all-around. Hannah finished ninth all-around at Regionals.

In 2007, Hannah finished third all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Hannah won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed third on bars and ninth on floor. Hannah finished 17th all-around.

As a freshman at Boise State in 2008, Hannah competed all-around in 10 meets. She earned WAC Athlete of the Year and WAC Freshman of the Year awards. Hannah won vault, floor and the all-around at the WAC Championships. She earned All-WAC first-team honors on vault, bars, floor and the all-around. Hannah was named WAC Gymnast of the Week five times. She earned five all-around titles, seven vault titles, and seven floor titles. In addition, Hannah was a WAC All-Academic honoree. She finished third on floor at Regionals.

During her sophomore season, she competed on vault seven times, bars nine times and floor five times. She earned two vault titles, one bar title and one floor title. She earned WAC Specialist of the Week honors and earned All-WAC first-team honors on bars and floor. She earned All-WAC second-team honors on vault. Hannah was a member of the WAC All-Academic Team and NACGC/W All-Academic team. In 2010, Hannah became the first Boise State Gymnast to compete at the NCAA Championships as an individual event specialist on vault and floor. She competed in the all-around five times throughout the season. Hannah won seven vault titles, five bars title, eight floor titles and one all-around title. She won the WAC floor title. Hannah earned All-WAC first-team on bars and floor and second-team on vault. She earned WAC Gymnast of the Week three times and WAC Specialist of the Week twice. Hannah was also a WAC All-Academic Team member and NACGC/W All-Academic honoree.

In 2011, Hannah earned All-WAC first-team honors on vault, bars, and floor. She earned second-team honors in the all-around. Hannah won the uneven bars title at the WAC Championships.
