Shani Remme was born on May 24, 1997. She trained at Extreme Gymnastics through the 2007 fall season. She then moved to Byers Roseville. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In the fall of 2007, Shani competed level four. She won beam and the all-around at the Judges Cup. She won the all-around title at the River City Classic. Shani won bars, beam and the all-around at the Byers Compulsory Classic and Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree. She placed seventh all-around at the State Championships. Shani competed level five in 2008. She placed second all-around at the Meet at Mavericks and Judges Cup. She won bars and the all-around at the Gypsy Invite. Shani won vault and bars at the Disco-Tech Invitational. At the Halloween Jamboree, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. She won all five gold medals at the Zone Championships. She placed first on beam and second all-around at the State Championships.

Within three months of competing at the Level 5 State Championships, Shani began competing level seven in February of 2009. She placed fourth all-around at the Black Tie Invitational. She own vault at the Golden State Classic. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. Shani moved up to level eight in 2010. She finished third on beam at the Roseville Invitational. She won floor at the Winter Invitational. Shani placed third all-around at the Golden State Classic and Return of the Titans meet. She placed second on beam and floor at the State Championships. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals.

Shani competed level nine in 2011. She placed first on floor and second all-around at the Red Heart 10.0 Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the Roseville Invitational. She won vault at the Winter Invitational. At the IGI Chicago Style, she won vault, floor and the all-around. Shani finished third all-around at the Golden State Classic. At the State Championships, she placed fourth all-around. Shani also finished fourth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fifth on vault, sixth on floor and fifth all-around!
