Madison Rich was born on May 11, 1995. She trained at NASA in Washington through the 2010 season. She then moved to Auburn Gymnastics Center. Madison will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2005, Madison competed level five. She placed third all-around at the Harbor Classic. She continued competing level five in 2006. She won bars at the Emerald Team Challenge. Madison competed level seven in 2007. She qualified to the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She placed third on beam at the Emerald Team Challenge. Madison finished in the top ten all-around at the State Championships.
Madison began competing level nine in 2009. She finished second all-around at the Rainier Cup. At the Great West Gym Fest, she placed third all-around. She finished in the top fifteen all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Madison placed second all-around. She competed at Westerns. In 2010, Madison won beam at the Battle in Seattle. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Great West Gym Fest. At the State Championships, she placed second on bars. She won the all-around title at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed second on bars. She finished eighth all-around.
She continued competing level nine in 2011. Madison finished fourth on bars at the Crystal Cup. She placed fourth all-around at the Battle in Seattle. At the March Madness, she placed third all-around. Madison placed second on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars, beam and floor. Madison placed second all-around. She placed second on bars and beam at Westerns. She also placed sixth on floor and seventh all-around.
