Elizabeth Ritchie was born on June 26, 1998. Both her brother and younger sister are also competitive gymnasts! Elizabeth trained at WOGA through most of the 2007 season. She then briefly trained at Eagle's Wings Athletics. Elizabeth returned to WOGA after the 2009 season. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

Elizabeth began competing in 2005 as a level four. She finished fourth on vault at the District Championships. She moved up to level five in 2006. She finished fifth all-around at the Judges Cup. Elizabeth placed second on vault, third on bars and fourth all-around at the District Championships. She won a bronze medal on bars at the North State Championships. She competed level six in 2007. She finished first on beam and third all-around at the State Championships. At the National Judges Cup in January of 2008, Elizabeth won beam and finished third all-around.

In 2009, Elizabeth competed level seven. She won vault and bars at the Texas Prime Meet. She placed second all-around at the Rose City Classic. She also won vault and bars. At the North State Championships, she won the all-around title. Elizabeth ended her season by winning vault and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished second on bars and floor. Elizabeth moved up to level eight in 2010. She won vault and bars at the Metroplex Challenge. Elizabeth finished second all-around at the WOGA Classic. She also placed second all-around at the Houston National Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished second on bars and fourth on vault. Elizabeth did not compete all-around at Regionals because of a hamstring injury. Despite this, she still won uneven bars!

Elizabeth began her 2011 season as a level 9 gymnast at the IGI Chicago Style where she placed 12th in the all-around and fourth on vault. At the Level 9 Texas State Championships, she placed fifth on floor exercise and sixth on balance beam. She did well at the Level 9 Regionals where she placed fifth in the all-around, fourth on balance beam and sixth on floor exercise. This qualified Elizabeth to the Level 9 Western Nationals in San Diego, CA. At the Nationals, she placed tenth in the all-around, third on floor exercise and seventh on balance beam out of 48 gymnasts.
