Cidney Robinson was born on November 25, 1995. She trained at Midwest Academy before following her coach to Phenom after the 2006 season. She moved to Arena Gymnastics before the 2009 season. She returned to Phenom in the summer of 2011. Cidney will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2006, Cidney competed level eight. She won beam at the Bravo Classic. She placed third all-around. She moved up to level nine in 2007. Cidney finished third on vault at the Bravo Classic and Midwest Open. She placed second on vault at the For Love or M9ney meet. At Regionals, Cidney finished ninth all-around and fourth on beam. She ended her season at Easterns. Cidney continued competing level nine in the early part of 2008. She finished first on vault and bars at the For Love or Money. She also won beam at the Bravo Classic. She moved up to level ten for the latter half of the season. She competed at Regionals.
Cidney continued competing level ten in 2009. She placed third on floor at the Bravo Classic. She competed at Regionals. In 2010, she won vault, bars and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won vault at the GymQuarters Invitational. Cidney finished second on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault. She finished sixth all-around. At JO Nationals, Cidney placed eighth on vault and third on bars! She finished 13th all-around. In 2011, Cidney placed first on vault at both the Twistars Invitational and Bravo Classic. She finished fourth all-around at the UGA Classic.
