Haylee Roe was born on October 4, 1996. She began gymnastics at Mesquite, which later changed its name to Texas Elite. After the gym closed, she moved to Individual Spots briefly in 2009 before moving to Eagle Wing's Athletics. After her coach left, Haylee began training at Texas Dreams. She followed her coaches to Metroplex in August 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2005, Haylee competed level four. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the District Championships. Haylee competed level seven in 2007. She continued competing level seven in 2008. She won beam and floor at the North State Championships. At the State Championships, she won vault, beam and floor. She finished second all-around. In December, she won vault, floor and the all-around at the Texas All-Star meet. This performance earned her a spot on the National Judges Cup Team for 2009. At the National Judges Cup, she won the all-around!
Haylee finished the 2009 season as a level eight. She placed second at the Texas Prime meet. She placed second on beam at the Rose City Classic. Haylee won floor and finished second all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. Haylee moved up to level nine in 2010. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Texas Prime meet. She won bars at the Metroplex Challenge. Haylee won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the WOGA Classic. She won bars and the all-around at the Nadia Invitational. Haylee won bars, beam and the all-around at the Kurt Thomas Invitational. She finished fourth at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on bars, beam and the all-around. She won floor. Haylee finished in the top six on every event at Westerns including first on floor and second all-around.
