Lauren Rogers was born on September 19, 1990. She trained at Northeast Gymnastics during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2009.
In 2002, Lauren competed level nine. She finished second on vault at Easterns. In 2003, she won vault at Regionals. Lauren competed level ten in 2004. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals. In 2005, she won floor at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. Lauren finished seventh all-around at Regionals in 2006. She finished eighth on vault and in the all-around at JO Nationals. In 2007, Lauren placed third on vault and beam at the Brestyan Invitational. She finished fourth on vault and eleventh all-around at JO Nationals.
Lauren continued competing level ten in 2008. She won bars and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished third on vault at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished first on vault and fifth all-around! In 2009, Lauren won bars at the Parkette Invitational. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished first on floor and the all-around at the Frederick Classic. She won floor at the Friendship Classic. Lauren won bars and finished second all-around at the State Championships. She won vault at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Lauren won vault! She placed third on bars and seventh all-around.
As a freshman at Washington, she competed on vault and floor throughout the season. She finished second on vault against Arizona State. Lauren won bars against Arizona. She competed in the all-around, placing third, against Oklahoma in March. She won all-around the new weekend against SPU. She competed on vault, bars and floor at the Pac-10 Championships.
