Michaela Romito was born on May 10, 1996. She trains at Gymnastics World in Ohio. Michaela will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2004, Michaela competed level five. She finished third all-around at the Flytz Classic. She was named to the National TOPs Diamond Team. In 2005, Michaela competed level seven. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. Michaela continued competing level seven in 2006. She placed second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She moved up to level eight in 2007. Michaela finished second all-around at the For Love or Money meet. At the State Championships, she finished third on bars and fourth all-around. Michaela placed in the top twenty at Regionals.

Michaela began competing level nine in 2008. She finished first on beam at the State Championships. In 2009, Michaela finished third all-around at the Graffiti Invitational. She finished second on bars at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. Michaela finished third on beam at the Circle of the Stars meet. Michaela participated in the International Children's Games in the summer where she won a silver medal with her team. In 2010, Michaela finished third all-around at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. She placed second on vault at the IGI Chicago Style and third on beam at the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault. Michaela won beam and finished second all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed sixth on beam and eighth all-around.
