Lauren Rose was born on April 27, 1992. She trained at Brandy Johnson's Global Gymnastics through the 2004 season. She then moved to LaFleur's Largo for two seasons from 2006 to 2007 because her coach moved there. Lauren drove over 90 miles each eay for 2.5 years. She then spent 2008 at Legacy Gymnastics Center. Lauren trained at Broadway in 2009 and Orlando Metro in 2010. She graduated from high school in December of 2010.

In 2003, Lauren competed level seven. She moved up to level eight in 2004. She finished third at Regionals. She won beam and floor. In 2006, Lauren competed level nine. She qualified to Easterns. She continued competing level nine in 2007. She finished third all-around and first on floor at the Gasparilla Classic. At the Lightning City Invitational, she won bars. At Easterns, Lauren placed sixth on beam, tenth on floor and 15th all-around. She moved up to level ten in 2008. She won bars at the Gasparilla Classic.

Lauren continued competing level ten in 2009. She won the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational and Presidential Classic. At Regionals, she placed seventh all-around. She ended her season at JO Nationals. In 2010, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She finished second on floor at the Pikes Peak Cup. She won vault and bars at the City of Lights Invitational. At the State Championships, she won floor and placed fourth all-around. She finished fifth all-around and third on bars at Regionals. She did not compete at JO Nationals.
