Arla Rosenzweig was born on February 28, 1991. She trained at Airborne Gymnastics. She graduated from high school in 2009.

In 2000, Arla competed level five. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She competed level seven in 2003. She finished third on bars and second on floor at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2004. Arla won the all-around at the San Diego Classic, Desert Devils Classic and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault and beam. She finished second all-around. She moved up to level nine in 2005. She finished second on bars at the San Diego Classic. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fifth all-around. She placed fifth on vault and bars at Westerns. She placed seventh all-around.

Arla competed level nine in 2006. She finished second all-around at the Go For It Classic and AOGC Invitational. She won the all-around title at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on bars and second all-around. She placed second on vault and tenth on bars. She finished 13th all-around at Westerns. Arla competed level ten in 2007. She finished first on beam at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. In 2008, Arla finished first on floor at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2009, she finished third all-around at the Tachi Palace Invitational. At the WOGA Classic, she placed second all-around. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished seventh all-around at Regionals.

As a freshman at Cal in 2010, Arla competed in all but the first meet. She competed on vault, bars, and floor throughout the season. She did not compete in 2011.
