Amanda Ruble was born on May 2, 1997. She trains at Oakland Gymnastics in Michigan. She will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2008, Amanda competed level seven. She placed second all-around at the Twistars Invitational. At the IGI Chicago Style, she placed fourth all-around. She finished second all-around at the US Airborne Invitational. She moved up to level eight in 2009. She finished second all-around at the Wolverine Classic. She placed sixth all-around at the State Championships. She finished third all-around at Regionals. In 2010, Amanda won vault, beam and the all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Motown Madness meet, she placed first on vault and the all-around. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second all-around.
Amanda competed level nine in 2011. She finished third all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She placed second all-around at the Athlete Warrior Challenge. She won beam at the Presidential Classic. At the Motown Madness meet, she finished first on beam and second all-around. She won beam and the all-around at the All American Invitational. She placed second on beam and fourth all-around at the State Championships. Amanda finished third on floor at Regionals. She finished eighth all-around.
