Kaelin Ruoss was born on March 19, 1996. She trained at Astra Gymnastics until the summer of 2005. She then moved to Prestige. Kaelin will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2004, Kaelin competed level five. She finished third on vault, bars and floor at the Friendship Classic. She placed fourth all-around. She moved up to level six in 2005. She finished first on bars, second on floor and second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. In 2007, Kaelin competed level eight. She finished third all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At Regionals, she placed second on beam and in the all-around. She won vault.
Kaelin competed level nine in 2008. She finished fourth all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won beam and placed second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She won vault at the State Championships. At Easterns, Kaelin placed sixth on vault. She missed most of the 2009 season but competed on three events as a level ten at the State Championships.
She competed her first full season as a level ten in 2010. She finished fourth all-around at the Parkette Invitational and fifth at the Buckeye Classic. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third all-around. She ended her season at JO Nationals.
