Cole Sander was born on June 28, 1995. She trained at Texas Dreams Gymnastics until the end of the 2005 season. She then moved to Top Flight. She returned to Texas Dreams in the fall of 2010.
In 2003, Cole made the National TOP Diamond Team. She competed level seven in 2005. She won vault at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2006. She competed at the State Championships. She continued competing level eight in 2007. At Regionals, Cole won the all-around title! She placed second on vault, bars, and floor. In 2008, Cole competed level nine. She finished fourth all-around at the South Padre Extravaganza. At the Rose City Classic, she won vault, bars and the all-around. At Regionals, Cole placed third all-around. She won vault and placed second on bars. She ended her season at Westerns, placing tenth all-around.
Cole continued competing level nine in 2009. She placed second all-around at the Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars and placed second all-around. Cole won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at Westerns, winning vault, bars, floor and the all-around! She began competing level ten in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Winter Cup and Kurt Thomas Invitational. At the Rose City Classic, Cole placed first on bars and in the all-around. At Regionals, placing third on bars and tenth all-around. She qualified to compete at the JO NIT but was unable to attend. In 2011, Cole finished third on bars at the Texas Prime meet. She placed second on bars at the WOGA Classic. She finished third all-around at the Purple and Gold meet. At the State Championships, Cole placed third on bars. She finished ninth all-around at Regionals. She won bars at the JO National Invitational Tournament. She placed fifth all-around.
