Sydnee Baker was born on January 27, 1996. She trained at Titan Juniors through the 2006 season. She then moved to Team OC Gymnastics. Sydnee will graduate from high school in 2014.

In the fall of 2005, Sydnee began competing level four. She finished fifth all-around at the Butterfly Classic. She finished in the top fifteen at Sectionals. Sydnee competed at the State Championships. In the spring, she finished first on vault at the Go For It Classic. Sydnee finished third all-around at the AOGC Invitational. She finished third on bars at the Long Beach Open and Golden State Friendship Challenge. Sydnee moved up to level five in the fall. She finished second all-around at the 3rd Prelim. She finished in the top twenty at Sectionals. Sydnee did not compete in the all-around at the State Championships. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the IGHOF Invitational in January of 2007. In the fall of 2006, she competed one level six meet, winning vault, floor and the all-around at the 1st Prelim.

Sydnee began competing level seven in 2008. She placed third on beam and floor at the IGHOF Invitational. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. Sydnee moved up to level eight in 2009. She won the all-around at the Team OC Classic. At the Wine Country Classic, she won bars. Sydnee finished second on bars at the Hard Rock Invitational. She finished first all-around at the Heart of a Champion Invitational. Sydnee finished third on beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished in the top twenty all-around.

She moved up to level nine in 2010. Sydnee competed on bars and floor at the Team OC Classic. She added beam at the San Diego Classic. She competed in her first all-around meet at the Malibu Coast Challenge. Sydnee did not vault at the State Championships.
