Zoey Schaefer was born on November 5, 1995. She trains at Twin City Twisters. Zoey will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2008, Zoey competed level eight. She finished third on bars and floor at the Rising Stars Invitational. At Regionals, she placed fifth on bars and 14th all-around. Zoey moved up to level nine in 2009. She placed second on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished second on vault and beam at the Byers Invitational. At Regionals, she won vault, floor and the all-around. Zoey ended her season at Westerns.
Zoey continued competing level nine in 2010. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Winter Challenge. She finished first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Long Beach Open, she won floor and the all-around. Zoey finished second all-around at the Northern Lights Invitational. She won vault and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Zoey finished first on vault and second on beam. Zoey began competing level ten in the 2010-2011 season. She opened the season by winning beam, floor and the all-around at the Peppermint Twist.
