Emily Schild was born on August 19, 1998. She trained at The Gym Company through the 2006 season. She then moved to Everest Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2005, Emily competed level four. She won vault at the Judges Cup. She finished first on floor and second all-around at the High Point Invitational. She placed third on floor at the Turkey Tumble meet. At the State Championships, she finished fourth on floor and fifth all-around. She moved up to level five in 2006. She finished 12th all-around at the State Championships. Emily continued competing level five in 2007. She finished second on floor at the Turkey Tumble meet. She finished third on beam and fourth all-around at the State Championships.

Emily competed level six in 2008. She won vault at the Judges Cup. She won floor and the all-around at the Shooting Stars Invitational. Emily won all five gold medals at the Everest Challenge. She won bars and the all-around at the Compulsory Classic. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Turkey Tumble meet. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She began competing level seven in 2009. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Hilton Head Island Invitational. She finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Tiger Paw Invitational. At the State Championships, she won floor and the all-around. Emily won vault at the Region 8 Invitational. She finished second all-around.

She competed level eight in 2010. Emily won vault at the Flip Fest Invitational. She finished first on vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Tiger Paw Invitational. Emily won bars, floor and the all-around at the Charleston Cup. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault, bars and the all-around. She finished second on vault and the all-around at the Regional Championships. She moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished first on vault, bars and the all-around at the Flip Fest Invitational. Emily won vault and bars at the Tiger Paw Classic. At the Excalibur Cup, she placed second all-around. Emily also finished second all-around at the Charleston Cup. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. She won vault and floor. At Regionals, she placed first on beam and the all-around. Emily finished first all-around at Easterns! She placed third on vault, fifth on bars and second on beam and floor. She will compete level ten in 2012.
