Allison Schimmel-Bristow was born on January 19, 1989. She competed for Northwest Aerials in 2000 and 2001. In 2002, she competed for Auburn gymnastics in Washington. Since 2003, Allison competed for Gymnastics East until she retired from gymnastics.

In 2000, she competed as a level seven. Allison moved up to level eight in 2001. She did level eight again in 2002. She won the level eight state all-around title that year. At Regionals, she won beam, floor and the all-around title! In 2003, Allison moved up to the ninth level of the Junior Olympic program. She did level nine again in 2004. She won the Desert Devils Classic. At the Washington State Championships, she placed second all-around. Her final meet of the season was Westerns. She finished second all-around and first on beam! Allison started competing as a level ten in the winter of 2005. She placed second all-around at the 2006 Gymnastics in Paradise competition. At the Level 10 State Championships, she finished second all-around. Allison won Regionals. Her lowest finish on any individual event was third! She ended her season at the JO National Championships.

She did not compete in 2007. She began coaching gymnastics. She currently attends Seattle University.
